Umbria

The motivations for visiting an agriturism are very convincing: some of the world’s most beautiful rural backdrops, vast cultivation of olives (Umbria DOP extra virgin olive oil), vineyards (producing different DOC wines, some of which even qualify as “guaranteed”), sunflowers, pastures for fodder and crops; hospitality in antique, precious, stone houses where you can experience a traditional atmosphere with all the modern comforts; an incredible historic and cultural background found in both big and small cities, in the churches and squares of medieval aristocracy, in the sanctuaries and country hermitages, in places of literature and places of prayer (Assisi, Cascia, Norcia, Saint Francis, Saint Rita, Saint Benedict).
